Our Exelida plant in Gottingen, Germany, specializes in the development and production of

photonics solutions for the semiconductor market. The facility provides highly complex optical

systems as well as opto-mechanical components for shadow production, wafer inspection, chip

welding and packaging applications.

The new custom-built production building at the Science Park in Gottingen opened in September

2021 with a floor area of 6,700 square meters, of which 1,500 square meters are clean rooms with

an extremely high cleanliness class according to ISO 5. It has a state of the art automated material

warehouse and ultrasonic cleaning system to achieve the highest cleanliness level of optical

components in the semiconductor industry.
